This is an antique handled serving plate by William Guerin Limoges France from the Edwardian era the makers mark dates it 1890-1900. A renowned Limoges artisan.
The plate has ornate handles and may have scalloped or unusually waved edges features a beautiful hand-painted gold ribbon design.
It features transferred decorations of purple flowers, possibly violets or pansies, with foliage & gold gilt accents.
Made of porcelain with a glossy finish, the length is 10” x 9.5”w x 1.5” H.
Generally used to serve sandwiches, cakes, or desserts.
